Pratt BF Series

The Pratt BF Series of Wafer/Lug Butterfly Valves is designed with a 3-point connection tongue and groove seat system that ensures higher pressure ratings and full vacuum capabilities. Its two component shaft construction increases the part’s strength and durability, allowing for a high flow disc and includes a secondary shaft seal to stop leakage. All BF Series Butterfly Valves are designed to be bi-directional, end of line, and bubble tight to rated pressure to ensure versatility in a wide range of applications.

BF Series Butterfly Valves are constructed of high quality materials, feature a food grade rated resilient seat, are designed with a top flange that meets ISO 5211 and Kv Industrial standards, and includes a blowout proof stem that adheres to API 609 requirements. Lug style valves are available for installation between ANSI 125/150 flanges and Wafer style valves are available for installation between ANSI 125/150, PN 10, and PN 16 flanges. Butterfly valves from 2” – 12” are rated up to 250psi, and Butterfly Valves from 14” – 48” are rated up to 150psi.

The BF Series Butterfly Values have been subjected to a rigorous quality and inspection process, consistently producing high Cv (Valve Flow Coefficient) values. This means lower flow resistance, which also lowers the overall operating costs for the entire system over the valve lifespan.
