Gary Lauchert earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Management at the University of Buffalo in 1979. He joined the R.M. Headlee Co., Inc. in 1984 as a Territory Manager and is now the Owner and President of the company. In 2007 New York State Department of Education approved R.M. Headlee Co., Inc. as a sponsor of continuing education for professional engineers in New York State.

Since 1984, conducted hundreds of seminars relating to the use, selection and design of all types of valves, including butterfly, ball, check, pilot operated, gate, pinch, plug, control, instrument, and actuators, including electric, pneumatic hydraulic and electro-hydraulic. Lead equipment start-up activities for valves, actuated valves, mixing and aeration systems. Sized, recommended and implemented control valves for critical applications for hundreds of projects.

After graduating from the Norwich University Military Academy in 1979 with a BS in Business Administration I accepted a job as a technical purchasing agent with Union Carbide Corp, Linde Div ( Praxair ) in Tonawanda, NY. In 1983 I joined a western NY family owned Rep Company as inside sales mgr. and in 1985 moved to Cincinnati, OH as an technical outside salesman covering three states. Product lines were industrial valves, actuators, heat transfer – pulsation control – filtration – Silencer & separation equipment. I was the top safety relief valve salesman for Anderson Greenwood four years in a row.

1989 I moved back to Buffalo, NY in an outside sales position and helped start a Valve Automation Company in Buffalo, NY focused on new packages and adaption in the field on existing older valves. In 1996 I became Global Sales manager for Flow Safe relief valves. In that capacity I traveled extensively both Domestically & Internationally setting up a Rep network and calling on large potential Industrial clients. In 2015 I joined RM Headlee as VP of Business Development. I live in the Buffalo, NY area with my wife Beth of 37 years and have two sons Matthew and Patrick.

Gary Thomson received his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1982. He joined R.M. Headlee Co., Inc. as a Technical Sales Representative in 1996 and promoted to Eastern Regional Manager in 2000 and Sales Manager in 2007. Conducted hundreds of seminars relating to the use, selection and design of all types of valves, including butterfly, ball, check, pilot operated, gate, pinch, plug, control, instrument, and actuators, including electric, pneumatic hydraulic and electro-hydraulic. Lead equipment start-up activities for valves, actuated valves, mixing and aeration systems.

Rudy Melisz graduated from Kettering University (GMI) in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Rudy interned in the industrial industry, engineering heat exchangers, industrial silencers, separation equipment and safety relief valves. Rudy spent his first 9 years in application and sales of industrial valves, safety relief valves, valve automation, and separation equipment. Job functions included applications, design, engineering, field service, outside sales and division manager.

I joined RM Headlee in 2018 as a Sales Engineer. My expertise in valve and valve automation will greatly compliment the team. I look forward to providing solutions to your process valve needs.
