In 1986, Sharpe was launched in suburban Chicago, a manufacturer offering customized stainless and carbon steel valves. As the company continued to grow, Underwriters Laboratories recognized it with an ISO 9001 registration based on Sharpe’s design and manufacturing of valves.
In recent years, Sharpe® has expanded beyond the U.S. into the international marketplace. While it’s common to find Sharpe® valves at work in major U.S. plants, they also are widely accepted in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Today, many Sharpe® products are also available in Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, Monel and Brass. The full line of valves are used by companies of all types and sizes involved in manufacturing, chemical processing, paper and pulp, petroleum, power generation, food processing and more.
Sharpe® valves are available in many product categories including stainless and carbon steel ball valves; stainless and carbon steel fire safe ball valves; gate, globe and check valves; and control valve packages. With all assembly taking place at the company’s plant located at its Northlake, IL, headquarters. Sharpe® valves can be custom made according to varying specifications, design modifications and special needs.
